Engr. Mustapha .Y. Maihaja, Director General, Nigerian Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) will lead stakeholders from the public & private sector and other participants to the maiden edition of Nigeria Disaster & Emergency Management Summit (NIDEMS) 2018. The event is organized by Nigeria’s media flagship Guardian Newspapers Ltd in collboration with 247 Communications and will hold on June 6, 2018 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

NIDEMS 2018 aims to contribute to the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)- a blue print for global actions in DRR and is structured to strategically influence niche audiences, promote good practice, share ongoing research and chart the way forward for the advancement of Disaster and Emergency Management in the West African Region.
